Join us in the Conference Room for Five & Under Fridays! Children can explore a variety of toys and engage in social play while caregivers get an opportunity to also socialize.
Five & Under Friday will occur on 10/9, 10/16, & 10/30.
Join us on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for Preschool Storytime! This program is best for ages 3-6 years and it features, stories, songs, and an activity.

We will read stories, sing, dance and clap our time away. Afterwards, stay and play with friends! A toddler-friendly craft may be introduced. Perfect for ages 1.5-3 years with a caregiver.

This is the story of little Annabelle, who discovers a box of brightly colored yarn on a cold, dark day in a dull, grey town. So she knits a cozy jumper to keep herself nice and toasty warm and finds, to her surprise, that she still has yarn left over. So she decides to knit her dog a jumper too but, hang on a second, she STILL has extra yarn! Annabelle knits and knits and, soon, she’s blanketed the entire town in a rainbow of color, knitting away the dreary iciness that grips it. Her prodigious status spreads far and wide. It doesn’t take long for the evil Archduke to set his beady eyes upon Annabelle’s magical box of yarn but, little does he know, you have to have a little bit of magic inside your heart for it to work…

Starting June 1, stop by the library and pick up an Experience Kit!
Coordinated thanks to the Heinz History Center’s Affiliates Program (HCAP) and the Allegheny County Library Association, Experience Kits check out for one week and provide free admission for four people to a number of museums and historical sites around western Pennsylvania.
All our kits are first come, first served and we do not hold kits.
