Join Ms. Erin for some Not-So-Spooky stories on October 22 at 6 PM! Best for ages 3+, we will read some Halloween themed stories and do a craft. Come in your best Not-so-spooky Halloween pajamas or costumes (no scary masks, please!). Registration is required and a grown up must attend. Thanks to a generous grant from the Allegheny County Library Association, we are proud to offer Early Literacy Kits to our youngest patrons! Each kit is available for families with infants under the age of one year. You will find books, songs and fingerplays, an egg shaker and scarf to wave, early literacy tips, book lists (available at the library!) a fashionable bib, and more. Return a second time (and sign up for a library card!) with your coupon and receive a third book!
Thanks to the Allegheny County Library Association’s Youth Services, two American Girl dolls are now available to borrow! Julie is a historical doll from 1974 and Tenney was a doll of the year in 2017. You must come into the library to check them out. Check out some of the fun they had over the weekend!
