Land Acknowledgement

Andrew Bayne Memorial Library occupies the historical lands of the Adena and Hopewell, and Monongahela civilizations and the unceded ancestral land of the Osage and Shawnee peoples. Displacement is not only the history of native people, but also the history of Bellevue and its first families. We honor this history and the indigenous cultures that preceded us.
