This project, coordinated by the Allegheny County Library Association and funded by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, aspires to enable participating libraries to broaden their strategies for community engagement and facilitate the development of community-driven service delivery. Over the course of 2019, ACLA’s Project Team will conduct needs assessments in each participating community, through community interviews, focus groups, and surveys. Findings will be ultimately be compiled in Community Profiles that are intended to guide and inform library programming and service delivery.
