Congratulations to our two Surprise Book Challenge winners, Sam B. and Madeline B. Sam’s winning chapter book entry was The Evil Wizard Smallbone. Sam, an avid reader, says he would recommend this book. Madeline’s winning picture book was Bones, Bones, Dinosaur Bones. Madeline really likes books and she enjoys coming to Bayne Library with her family.

Come play BINGO with us! Library BINGO. It’s easy, just pick up a BINGO card at our Circulation Desk (you’ll have your choice of 5 different cards), read the books you need to get a BINGO, then bring in your card to receive an entry for our $100 grand prize drawing.
The drawing will be held in early June, so you’ll have plenty of time to get more than one BINGO. Come play! Erraheadjawblis
Come build something with our Legos! Kids ages 6 to 12 are invited to join us each Thursday afternoon from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. Registration is not required, but imaginations are! Come have some after school fun at Bayne Library. We are accepting donations of Legos to build our collection. Your generosity is appreciated.
Patrons ages 55 and over are invited to have full use of the library on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Come browse books, use the computer, read the newspaper and socialize with other seniors while you enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a sweet treat.
Be an early bird at Bayne!
